Beta Hydroxy Acids, i.e. Salicylic Acid, used by itself or in conjunction with Alfa Hydroxy Acids, eg Lactic Acid, stimulates exfoliation, improves the appearance of the skin and also strengthens the collagen. Apply cosmetics 5-10 minutes after the Beta Hydroxy Gel to ensure proper penetration. If irritation occurs, stop use for a few days
