The oral treatment is also effective against various mites and controls sarcoptic mange and demodectic mange. Nexgard is also helpful in the treatment strategy of Flea Allergy Dermatitis as well as controls flea tapeworm infestations in dogs. It contains the potent ingredient Afoxolaner, which has a unique mode of action. Nexgard does not need to be taken with food. It can be given as a tasty chewable treat.
